It has been told that during the dawn of the age of creation, Xalem, the First One created the World of Nevartah from material called Dawn Rock.
Creation of the World took him 7 months and during the 8th month he rested. First he created the ground by banging his great hammer. After the ground was finished he wasn't happy at all.
“How come it looks nothing more than a big version of the Dawn Rock”, he wondered. In his frustration he spat on the failed creation, and the sea was created.
“Oh that looks better”, Xalem thought to himself but something was still missing. It didn't take long for him to notice the problem. He took some dirt under his finger nails and threw it at the World thus creating the soil for plants.
Yet the World was still missing something, “By my great nose, what can be missing”, Xalem screamed in frustration. It wasn't until the 7th month that he finally figured it out. The World was missing living creatures and divine creatures to look after them.
He then cut his wrist and formed woman from his blood, not as his own image but as something so ugly he would never want to be. The woman gave birth to an ugly malformed child that Xalem decided to name a man.
After they had multiplied some more, Xalem then picked some of the people and gave them divine powers and names. After that he went to sleep for the last month.
